According to a news at pep.ph., ABS had bought the rights of Taiwanese Meteor Garden (MG) and is going to do a remake of it. And Sarah Geronimo is the one picked to do the role of San Chai. Arggh! No to pinoy MG remakes! Not unless they spend around 1% of the country's GDP for the production!
PEP.PH reported that rights to air Ggot Boda Namja a.k.a Korean Meteor Garden in the Philippines were bought by GMA. E, Hana Yori Dango Final bilin din kaya nila?
I did not see Nino in the clip. Am I mistaken?
How I wish I have the same privilege as this Filipino reporter working in Korea, she got to cover the Arashi Around Asia 2008 in Korea. Kainggit!

Popular Japanese pop group Arashi whipped thousands of Korean fans into
a state of frenzy, as they staged four sold-out concerts in Seoul over
the weekend.
It has been two years since Arashi performed in Seoul, but judging from the deafening screams at the Olympic Fencing Stadium, their fans are as crazy about them as ever. The group is in the middle of a three-city Asian tour, ``Arashi Around Asia 2008."
Arashi, composed of Masaki Aiba, Jun Matsumoto, Kazunari Ninomiya, Satoshi Ohno and Sho Sakurai, opened the concert with ``Love So Sweet." The song was the theme song for the popular Japanese drama ``Hana Yori Dango Returns (Boys Over Flowers)."
Throughout the nearly three-hour concert, Arashi performed many of their hit songs ``Step and Go," ``Happiness," ``Kitto Daijoubu (You'll Definitely be Okay)," ``We Can Make It," and ``Truth."
Each of the members had solo performances, showing off their distinct personalities and talents. Sakura rapped and danced to ``Hip Pop Boogie, while Aiba sang a cheerful number ``Hello Goodbye." Ninomiya played the piano while singing ``Niji (Rainbow)," and Ohno showed off his smooth vocals and dance moves to ``Take Me Faraway."
Matsumoto grabbed attention when he walked upside down on the ceiling, before flipping down and performing ``Yabai Yabai Yabai."
Arashi definitely knew how to please the Korean audience. Even though they spoke mainly in Japanese, group members sprinkled their comments with Korean phrases throughout the concert. They even included Korean lyrics in some songs, such as ``A-RA-SHI."
Sakurai even showed off the Wonder Girls' dance steps for the hit song ``Nobody," while the crowd sang the lyrics.
At their last concert Sunday evening, Arashi gave four encores before finally ending with the upbeat ``Fight Song."
Fans could not seem to get enough of the Japanese group. Matsumoto promised to return for a third ``Arashi Around Asia" tour.
An estimated 30,000 fans watched the four concerts Saturday and Sunday, including several hundred Japanese fans.
Even with little promotion about the concerts, tickets sold like hotcakes, with all three concerts being sold out on Auction.com in 30 minutes. Organizers had to add another concert, which once again sold out immediately.
Arashi is one of the most popular Japanese pop groups in Korea. Matsumoto is best known for his lead role in ``Boys Over Flowers." Ohno recently appeared in the Japanese drama remake of the Korean drama `The Devil."
Aiba appears on a popular Japanese variety show. Ninomiya received
critical acclaim for his role in Clint Eastwood's war movie ``Letters
From Iwo Jima." Sakurai starred in the film ``Honey & Clover."

I'm so happy today. Earlier I dined at Tokyo Tokyo Rockwell and the staff there was so nice!!
I chose to eat dinner at Tokyo Tokyo because my officemate earlier said that she heard Arashi songs being played when they dined at Tokyo Tokyo SM Centerpoint last Sunday. I wanted to try if I would be able to hear an Arashi song
being played there as I eat because I was so envious of my officemate and of the other fangirls who experienced it previously.
We'll I already tried eating before (at Tokyo Tokyo Galleria) but wasn't able to hear any Arashi song only Utada Hikaru's Flavor of Life. But today, I'm so blessed.
After ordering, I asked the staff do you play music here?
Staff: oh yes! We'll turn it on for you
Me: Thanks.
Then I went and sat at their cozy upholstered sofa with round table good for 12 people. I was alone.
Music started playing... (Imago's song first then other JPOP)
Staff: Here's your order ma'am. Would that be all?
Me: Do you play Arashi songs?
Staff: (puzzled)
Since he didn't get it. I asked, "Do you play Hana Yori Dango songs instead?"
Staff: Yes, ma'am. I'll look for it in the list.
So I waited patiently.
The player went from one song to the other. The other customers didn't seem to mind that the music was switching.
Staff: Ma'am I can seem to find the song list. I'm sorry.
Me: Its ok. (But I was quite sad.)
When I was almost half-way through my meal, I heard a "Yeah Yeah Yeah......"
Oh I smiled and said Whoa!! Arashi's Happiness!!! *grinning*
I was singing happily and moved my head with the song while eating.
Then a non-arashi song was played. And then the staff switched it to Step and Go!!
They were so kind to give in to my request! In their other stores, I think they won't listen to for such requests since they have a huge traffic of people.
Also, to hear an Arashi song, you have to wait for it for hours since the cd is mixed JPOP, Western, and Tagalog songs. If you're not there when it's queued then you won't hear it. Lucky me! I got to request and was fulfilled! :D

After months of stalking Arashi, I found interesting videos about them. In the following screencaps you'll see them being themselves off screen. They look so cute doing baka things ~ fooling around amongst themselves if left alone.

Below: The boys are sweet. They've composed songs for each member who turned 20. The caps above show their performance for Matsujun's 20th birthday. Nino composed the song for Matsujun who was last to turn 20.
Below: Arashi playing hide and seek.
Below: The boys showing their soft side when they shed tears due to Aiba's super heart touching letter for Arashi members. I got this from veoh
Clips were shown about the movie and some news in Japanese.. I don't speak Japanese. I'm just happy to see clips from the movie. credits to soy005@youtube
Love So Sweet and Wish makes me happy and "jerks me awake" that's why at night I don't listen to those songs 'coz my endorphins will go high and my serotonin will spike, therefore, I will not be able to sleep at once. hehehe
Happiness was my theme song when I
received a 10 kilo worth of fish products ( sashimi, norwegian salmon
steak, tuna jaw, scallops, squid) est. to be PHP 5000 from the company
that I wrote an article for. They were so pleased that I was able to
write an article about their company without them providing me the
interviews I requested and basic infornmation about their company. [I
had to do extensive research and be extra creative. In short, I exerted
so much effort for an article of 1000 words in a span of time]
We can make it keeps me motivated and encouraged as I engage in various activities
Hadashi no Mirai gets me to shake my booty. hehehe
Himitsu is my bonding song with my sister. We sing it together.
Sakura Sake makes me look forward for a brighter future ahead.
Kitto Daijoubu makes me smile because of the Raki raki baby.
to be continued...
