After months of stalking Arashi, I found interesting videos about them. In the following screencaps you'll see them being themselves off screen. They look so cute doing baka things ~ fooling around amongst themselves if left alone.

It wasn't only Arashi that Lyndon Gregorio mentioned in his comic strip at Philippine Star. But, he also mentioned Matsumoto Jun in his comic strip last year. Sugoi!!
The first comic strip where Matsumoto Jun was mentioned was published June 12, 2007 "PC settings"
The second time Matsumoto Jun was mentioned was last October 30, 2007 "Maximum Residency - Pass the time"
The third time was last November 20, 2007 "Wikiglen - the discovery"
credits to Lyndon Gregorio and beerkada.net for the comic strip images.
Clips were shown about the movie and some news in Japanese.. I don't speak Japanese. I'm just happy to see clips from the movie. credits to soy005@youtube
Love So Sweet and Wish makes me happy and "jerks me awake" that's why at night I don't listen to those songs 'coz my endorphins will go high and my serotonin will spike, therefore, I will not be able to sleep at once. hehehe
Happiness was my theme song when I
received a 10 kilo worth of fish products ( sashimi, norwegian salmon
steak, tuna jaw, scallops, squid) est. to be PHP 5000 from the company
that I wrote an article for. They were so pleased that I was able to
write an article about their company without them providing me the
interviews I requested and basic infornmation about their company. [I
had to do extensive research and be extra creative. In short, I exerted
so much effort for an article of 1000 words in a span of time]
We can make it keeps me motivated and encouraged as I engage in various activities
Hadashi no Mirai gets me to shake my booty. hehehe
Himitsu is my bonding song with my sister. We sing it together.
Sakura Sake makes me look forward for a brighter future ahead.
Kitto Daijoubu makes me smile because of the Raki raki baby.
to be continued...
Right now, I should be doing the weather page for tomorrows' newspaper but I just want to report first where the storm a.k.a. Arashi is headed. ^_^
Arashi 嵐 anounces "5 dome tour"
Pop group Arashi has announced that they are doing a concert tour of the five major domes - Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Sapporo. The only other Johnny's artists who have done a "5 dome tour" are SMAP and KinKi Kids.

My younger sister was the first one who watched Hana Yori Dango in our home. At first, I wasn't really keen on watching it since I was busy with my articles for the top 1000 magazine last year, which is the bulk of my work. Seeing her enjoying Hana Yori Dango didn't affect me much, I actually got irritated since she was laughing out loud in the middle of the night during the same time I'm writing my articles, after every episode she'll go to me and tell me how beautiful the drama was, she'll talk about the sweet scenes, the coolness of HYD etc etc. I just let her be eventhough I
wasn't really happy that she's taking my time from work.
After I submitted my articles to my editor, I found time to watch the drama that my sister was crazy about.
And in an instant I was hooked. It was beautifully done. It provided a new attack on the plot that is known by many Filipinos since Meteor Garden (HYD Taiwan version) has been shown here 5-6 times on local TV dubbed in our native language.
As I said in my previous post, I was Jun-baited and that's the start of my Arashi fan life. At first I couldn't differentiate who is who in Arashi. I know they were 5 but I don't know their names at that time thus I was confused with their faces.
After I finished season 1 and season 2, I moved on and be an "evangelist". I first told my mom about HYD, she watched it and she liked the series. Then I started sharing about Jun and Arashi. She's a fan now like me and I was also able to convince my sister of liking not only Jun but each of Arashi.
When I got hold of Letters from Iwo Jima DVD, I liked Nino from then on. And I watched his others dramas as well.
Little by little, I started sharing HYD to my officemates. One office mate supported me since she already saw HYD. So since I now have a teammate, I was able to convince my officemate to watch HYD. One officemate finished it and another is now down to watching the last two episodes of season 2. Apparently they liked the drama. Now I'm moving on to sharing Jun and Arashi. They're not bothered anymore when I play Wish and Love So Sweet mp3 in the office. They're listening to it in their mp3s as well and have gone to memorize these songs. The Jun-bait method is so effective, they're now open to more of Jun and his boyband. Hehehehe
Another officemate who knows Japanese is also set to watch HYD and is gonna help us learn Nihonggo. HYD is getting big here in the Philippines. It now has a big following thus so is Jun, Mao, Shun and the rest of the Japanese F4. So if ever they come here, they will be recognized.
On the side, Jun already has a big fanbase since Gokusen has been shown here prior to HYD. It has gone bigger due to HYD. I hope you visit us Jun and bring Arashi here too.
Quote of the day: "Fangirls are contagious while Arashi is like good food you'd definitely like others to try." ^_^
I've particulary created a vox account so I could track down all the latest information on my recent obsession, Arashi.
I've added lots of Arashi fangirls in my neighborhood, hoping that I could meet new people who could further fuel my passion for this Japanese boyband and to meet new friends as well.
My Journey to the Arashi 嵐 fandom
I was Jun-baited on the fourth quarter of 2007 after watching his Domyouji role in Hana Yori Dango Season 1 and 2. I liked the ending songs in both dramas so I ended up looking for its mp3 in google soon after I learned about Arashi.
I stumbled on their live performance on various shows on popular video sites scattered in the world wide web which ignited my interest in Japanese boybands. I wikied each of the members profiles. I watched every drama where Arashi boys appeared, I haven't seen Aiba's yet and still stuck with Jun and Nino dramas. I have listened to more than 15 arashi songs and will increase once my internet connection gets a pretty much stable rate. I have watched the Arashi concert in Taipei and hoping to watch AAA dome and other concerts. I'm thankful to all those awesome fangirls who keeps on updating their vox, LJ, wordpress, multiply accounts etc etc without their efforts I wouldn't have known much about the boys.
I'm still finding my way within the Arashi fandom which keeps on increasing everyday, I hope I could keep up sooner.
